Short Bio
Currently I am a non-tenured assistant professor (Ricercatore “lettera a” - RTDa) at Ca’ Foscari, Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics, and Statistics.
My research interests are in the areas of Structural Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Network Science, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision. Specifically, the main topics of my works involve the analysis of networks and structures, learning models for object classification, and text analysis.
I received a BSc in Statistics and Information Systems for Business Management and a MSc in Computer Science (summa cum laude) at Ca' Foscari University of Venice in 2009 and 2014, respectively. In 2018 I completed my PhD at Ca' Foscari University of Venice under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Torsello.
Since April 2021, I have been working on a project about information diffusion within social networks in collaboration with IESE Business School (the graduate business school of the University of Navarra in Barcelona).
