I&#8217;m also interested in studying AI from the point of view of epistemology and the philosophy of science (e.g. some topics of interest include the problem of induction, the problem-solving approach and\u00a0the notion of progress).<br \/>\nIn my past research, I was involved in different EU funded projects such as <a href=\"https:\/\/thinkbig.enm.bris.ac.uk\">ThinkBIG<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ai4europe.eu\">AI4EU<\/a>. I contributed to the piloting of the <a href=\"https:\/\/op.europa.eu\/en\/publication-detail\/-\/publication\/d3988569-0434-11ea-8c1f-01aa75ed71a1\">European Ethics Guidelines for Trustworthy AI<\/a> released in 2019 by the High-Level Expert Group on AI. I co-founded the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unive.it\/pag\/37074\/\">AI4EU Observatory on Society and AI<\/a> and coordinated the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unive.it\/pag\/37075\/\">AI4EU Working Group<\/a>s on ELSEC AI. I co-organized the AI4EU workshop on &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unive.it\/pag\/36810\/\">The Culture of Trustworthy AI.
